“When I came to Mt. Zion, I had never really learned to seek God on my own without the support and encouragement of others around me. I tended to use my surroundings as a 'crutch'; I just followed along because it was easy and the right thing to do. Growing up in a Christian home, I had a lot of Bible knowledge and I was proud of it too, but I didn’t have a deep relationship with Jesus, nor did I have that much of a desire to either. Here at Mt. Zion, God has challenged me in many ways, but especially in the area of seeking after Him for myself—alone. It has been the times when I obeyed this leading that I have really experienced God for myself. Without a doubt, these have been my most memorable and enjoyable times. It is not a duty, ritual, or form of legalism that I have found, but it is a relationship of love that draws me closer to Christ.”
“The Lord has done many things in my life during the past two years spent at Mt. Zion. He has taken what was a fearful, bound, and oppressed girl and turned her into a free, joyful, loving testimony of His goodness and grace. In learning to seek the Lord for myself, I have found that the key to a life of victory is simply knowing Jesus intimately.”
“My internship has continued to be the school of Christ for me as God has taken me to greater depths of knowing His love for me. I have found Him to be such a gentle Shepherd who leads me, nourishes me and carries me when I’m in need. I’m coming into a place of resting that it is my faith ALONE that pleases Him; Christ accomplished everything. I can now enter into His rest.”
“This year has been the best year of my life. During my internship, God has taught me what true Christianity is - denying yourself, taking up your cross and following Jesus. We aren't walking the way of the cross alone. There is a way of sweetness that follows this death of our flesh. God has been teaching me so many things that have built a firm foundation in my walk with Him: convictions, the cross, true love, trusting and obeying, submission, knowing the Holy Spirit's voice, and knowing God more intimately. I have learned the truth, and the truth is setting me free. I have come to know resurrection power. God has taken this spiritually crippled girl and brought forth healing. Thank you for the work You have done in my life and for bringing forth life out of death and beauty for ashes.”
“The three interns from Mt. Zion do stand out head and shoulders, and I continue to receive/hear compliments about their behavior, integrity, and willingness to serve. They are excellent ambassadors for Christ and Mt. Zion School of Ministry.” (South Africa)
“Thanks so much, Mt. Zion and Sister Catherine for allowing the interns to be a part of our ministry here in Guatemala. They are such a blessing helping us with the day to day tasks as well as sharing in the church services. On a personal note, their walk with the Lord and maturity has been refreshing.” (Guatemala)
“I have found the students of Mt. Zion to be compassionate, committed, focused on purpose, centered on Christ, unabashedly dependent upon Him, prayerful, and maturing in holiness. Their passion, intimacy and love for Jesus Christ are the bulwark of their experience at Mt. Zion School of Ministry.” (Pastor in Pennsylvania)
“I want to thank you. As a parent, I can rest knowing that my child is being cared for so well. Thank you for treating these students as your own. I have invested my all, my life in my child, and how thankful I am that you are there to take her to the next level.”
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being faithful to the Lord. Our daughter has changed so much. What an honor that God would allow us to have our daughter go to this school and that our seed would be trained up in the Spirit at a greater level than we ever dreamed. God is faithful, and it still brings tears to our eyes the changes that we see taking place in her life. Her whole countenance exemplifies the presence of Jesus Christ. We believe in the work you are doing and we thank God daily for you. Please keep doing what you are doing; this next generation is in desperate need of your ministry.”
“Mt. Zion School of Ministry is more than a school - it's a family. I praise the Lord in being able to tell you that when I speak to my son on the phone, I hear a peace and joy in his voice that can only come from being and feeling more than just God's love! He is so very, very happy. As the parent of one of your students (Kids!) I'd like to tell you that I EMBRACE, appreciate, and welcome your guidelines. I am a firm believer in your rules and want to encourage you all that you're doing an awesome job. I know my son - and to hear in his voice what I hear, then I know he's thriving.”
