Mt. Zion School of Ministry - Course Codes
Explanation of Codes

The first two letters of the code describes the name of the class. For classes which have two words, the first letters of the first and second words are used to represent the class.
- Example: NT would be used to describe the class New Testament Survey.
For classes which have one word, the first two letters of the class name are used.
- Example: AC would be used to represent Acts.

The first number after the letter code is the year the class is offered.
- Example: New Testament Survey is taught in the first year.

The second number after the letter code is the semester.
- Example: New Testament Survey is a first year class taught in the
second semester.

The third number after the letter code is the number of unit hours that the class is offered. Unit hours reflect the number of hours spent in each class, per week.
- Example: New Testament Survey is taken three times a week with each class lasting one hour.
