Admission Requirements For All Students
Below you will find the admission requirements for all students who desire to attend Mt. Zion School of Ministry:
- Definite born-again experience
- Completed application with a personal testimony, medical questionnaire, parental release form, and recent photograph
- Reference form from pastor, employer (if applicable), and two personal references
- Must be between the ages of 17 - 39
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- $10 application processing fee (must accompany completed application)
Applicants are not accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis; instead, each application is prayerfully considered by our admissions committee. Mt. Zion School of Ministry does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national, or ethnic origin. Any person that is interested in receiving an application for enrollment to Mt. Additional Requirements for:
Married Students
Married Students who are interested in attending Mt. Zion must be married for at least one year and must submit a pastoral letter stating that their marriage is stable with no serious marital issues. Mt. Zion does not have on-campus housing available for married couples; therefore, they must find accommodations off campus. Information regarding local housing is available upon request.
International Students
International Students who are interested in applying to Mt. Zion must obtain their own support and travel visas before attending.
Personal Items Needed:
There are two students per dorm room, and each room is furnished with either wardrobes or small closets. Irons and ironing boards are provided by the school, however the following items must be brought by the student:
- Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, etc.)
- Laundry soap
- Bedding (twin-size sheets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases)
- Desk Lamp
- Small trash/waste basket
- Towels
- Hangers
- Winter coat & boots
- Umbrella
- School supplies (notebook, paper, pens, etc.)
- King James Version Bible
- Concordance
Note: Students will not need an excess of clothing, as they will be wearing mandatory dress code, which is worn for all classes and church services 5 days of the week. Furniture (including bean-bag chairs and inflatable furniture) and large trunks are not permitted.
